I'm Vojo, a drummer. Illusional V is where I play, film and share it.
I played drums in bands through the early 2000s, then retired in 2010. Now I'm back behind the kit: rock and metal covers played, filmed and mixed at home. By day I'm a software developer, and I train hard and love heavy metal.
Illusional V is also my own music: 80s synthwave meets modern rock & roll, made as motivational background for workouts, runs, rides and drives. The first single, “Above All”, is out on Spotify.
One drummer. One kit. No stunt double.
On repeat: Iron Maiden, Metallica, The Midnight, Gunship, Beast in Black.
Every track gets played, filmed and mixed by me. Pick one and press play.
My own music: 80s synthwave meets modern rock & roll. The first single, released 13.05.2021. Stream it on Spotify, or watch the performance on YouTube.
What's behind every video.
To practise when it's difficult.
To play when there's no audience.
To keep going when the easy option is to stop.
The drum kit is where it starts. This is about building something that feels like your own, and leaving something behind that proves you were here.
Guitarists, bands, creators. Send me a riff, a track or an idea and let's make something loud.
